Congratulations to all the Members of the Month for June!
InnerFight: KATE HOGG
Kate has shown incredible discipline and commitment in her fitness journey! She has lost over 10kgs in the past few months and continues to push herself mentally and physically. Her love for InnerFight took her to Korea to watch the Team in their Semi-Final Competition, which was fantastic support that the Team appreciated! Incredible work Kate, keep crushing it!
Youth: OSCAR LAVENDER
He started out at InnerFight doing 1:1 training last September with the goal of building his strength and stamina. In January, he transitioned to our preteens program where he has continued to progress. This month, during Test Week, Oscar did an outstanding job, most notably in his 250m row time which he improved by 20 seconds! Behind his progress, is an amazing positive mindset and a competitive spirit. He is a friend to all of his classmates and his smile and easygoing nature, make him an absolute pleasure to have in our program. Congratulations, Oscar!
Endurance: MARK RIXON
Here's his coach Rob Jones, "Mark dedication to his overall health goes well beyond just running. He is one of the most dedicated athletes I have worked with when it comes to prioritizing strength and recovery. He identifies his weaknesses and understands that the way to address them is time and consistency. This hard work was rewarded last week when Mark raced the UTMB Mozart Marathon and placed first in his 64-69yo Age group. He is a shining example of what we should all be aspiring too be and that age really is just a number.

Crystal shows up consistently, (always with a smile) to improve her running, get better at life, and to welcome other members into the community. We are super excited to see you on the start line in Amsterdam!
Endurance - Ireland: SARAH CLARKE
Sarah came to us as she wanted to explore her capabilities and learn more in her prep to take on the Kerry way 200k
Sarah's commitment to the training is huge. The volume and intensity Sarah can produce week on week is outstanding. Sarah gets this done by keeping her why close to her heart. We are super proud of her work so far.
As this is being posted Sarah is out running an 80k race. Good luck!

Endurance - New Zealand: JESS LACY
Jess is one of our remote community members, currently living on the West Coast of the South Island. When joining our community in April her WHY was all about shifting her mindset when it came to running longer. A few weeks into training and she broke through that mental barrier and hasn't looked back since! Frothing after every run session, loving the speed work and running in every condition the West Coast throws her way. Jess is the definition of 'set a goal and be disciplined in your pursuit of it'. She brings determination to our InnerFight community and is proof that discipline and a whole lot of competitiveness (against herself) gives you the confidence and progress to push past your perceived limitations! We love having you as part of our community Jess and we look forward to seeing your hard work pay off in your events later this year!
ENGINE
Building those engines with a partner this week, which means higher intensity intervals across the machines.
GYMNASTICS
We continue to focus on the infamous bar muscle and the Handstand push-up in gymnastics. As always, we break down the skills, and these sessions are for all levels!
HYROX
Anything from a half hyrox to a full hyrox depending on your goals. We will change the distance of the runs so that we all finish together.
MOBILITY
Lower mobility/flexibility takes the front seat now. We will retest a few weeks ago to see if we are improving. The finisher will be upper stabilisation drills.
PURE STRENGTH
This week in pure strength, have some tough bench press cluster sets and then some upper body accessory work on Monday, followed by a chance to progress the loading on the Single Leg work from last week,
WEIGHTLIFTING
This week in weightlifting, we are dialling in positions with a muscle clean and press followed by a heavy clean hang clean and Jerk complex followed by a tough EMOM.

This week is descending 400’s, dialling in some pace work ready for testing next week.

This week at InnerFight, we will start off with some back squats and then leggy conditioning. On Tuesday, we have some gymnastics work followed by a tough EMOM. Wednesday, we will Sumo deadlift, then get into a rowing power clean WOD with ascending weight on the power cleans. Thursday, we focus on some upper body pulling work coupled with some single leg work and then some fast short AMRAPS. Friday, we are snatching, followed by a long continuous mover for Friday therapy.

Kate has shown incredible discipline and commitment in her fitness journey! She has lost over 10kgs in the past few months and continues to push herself mentally and physically. Her love for InnerFight took her to Korea to watch the Team in their Semi-Final Competition, which was fantastic support that the Team appreciated! Incredible work Kate, keep crushing it!
Youth: OSCAR LAVENDER
He started out at InnerFight doing 1:1 training last September with the goal of building his strength and stamina. In January, he transitioned to our preteens program where he has continued to progress. This month, during Test Week, Oscar did an outstanding job, most notably in his 250m row time which he improved by 20 seconds! Behind his progress, is an amazing positive mindset and a competitive spirit. He is a friend to all of his classmates and his smile and easygoing nature, make him an absolute pleasure to have in our program. Congratulations, Oscar!
Endurance: MARK RIXON
Here's his coach Rob Jones, "Mark dedication to his overall health goes well beyond just running. He is one of the most dedicated athletes I have worked with when it comes to prioritizing strength and recovery. He identifies his weaknesses and understands that the way to address them is time and consistency. This hard work was rewarded last week when Mark raced the UTMB Mozart Marathon and placed first in his 64-69yo Age group. He is a shining example of what we should all be aspiring too be and that age really is just a number.

Crystal shows up consistently, (always with a smile) to improve her running, get better at life, and to welcome other members into the community. We are super excited to see you on the start line in Amsterdam!
Endurance - Ireland: SARAH CLARKE
Sarah came to us as she wanted to explore her capabilities and learn more in her prep to take on the Kerry way 200k
Sarah's commitment to the training is huge. The volume and intensity Sarah can produce week on week is outstanding. Sarah gets this done by keeping her why close to her heart. We are super proud of her work so far.

Endurance - New Zealand: JESS LACY
Jess is one of our remote community members, currently living on the West Coast of the South Island. When joining our community in April her WHY was all about shifting her mindset when it came to running longer. A few weeks into training and she broke through that mental barrier and hasn't looked back since! Frothing after every run session, loving the speed work and running in every condition the West Coast throws her way. Jess is the definition of 'set a goal and be disciplined in your pursuit of it'. She brings determination to our InnerFight community and is proof that discipline and a whole lot of competitiveness (against herself) gives you the confidence and progress to push past your perceived limitations! We love having you as part of our community Jess and we look forward to seeing your hard work pay off in your events later this year!
