InnerFight: LAURA SHRUBSOLE
Laura’s return to fitness after her third baby has been inspiring. She started off in Carmen’s post natal classes and quickly got back into mainline classes as well as the small group ladies strength sessions. Thank you Laura for the inspiration and motivation!
Youth: HABIBA ELBANNA
Habiba Elbanna, a member of our Teens program. Habiba is kind and hard working. She is always up for a challenge and when she sets a goal for herself she works hard to accomplish that goal by putting in extra work and being patient during the process. Habiba was our youngest member to participate in the Open this year and did an outstanding job as she tackled each workout pushing herself to do more than she knew she was capable of. Habiba also donates her time as a Junior Coach in our program with the Heroes of Hope. Habiba is committed to coaching the Heroes and helping them to also find the joy in fitness. We have had the pleasure of watching Habiba grow in strength, skills and confidence and look forward to seeing what her future holds. Congratulations, Habiba!

Amy has been with LRC for 8 months and her hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Amy is incredibly humble and effortlessly ticks off races and long runs on her return to running journey post children. We are incredibly lucky to have Amy be part of this team.
Endurance - Ireland: BRIAN TYRRELL
Since day dot Brian has dedicated himself to the process in every way. His progress has been incredible and this is a testament to his consistency and hard work. Not to mention his level of attendance and punctuality.
Brian was one of our first community members, he believed in what we were creating. He is a true gent, a friend and massive root to our ever growing community.
He is everything we want from our athletes and more!
With Paris marathon this weekend he can rest assured that the work has been done! It’s time to have some fun!

This is what her coach Zoe says, "An energizer bunny & go-getter, Tresa tackles her sessions at 150%, always determined to hit her paces or heart rate zones bang on. This month, she has been rewarded with seeing and feeling progress in her running physically and mentally and executed an epic run in the 15km event yesterday 🏆🙌🏼. Nothing can stop this gal from challenging herself and smashing her goals. We love supporting you as you win at life Tre!”
ENGINE
Building those engines with a partner this week, which means higher intensity intervals across the machines.
GYMNASTICS
We continue to focus on the infamous bar muscle and the Handstand push-up in gymnastics. As always, we break down the skills, and these sessions are for all levels!
HYROX
Anything from a half hyrox to a full hyrox depending on your goals. We will change the distance of the runs so that we all finish together.
MOBILITY
Lower mobility/flexibility takes the front seat now. We will retest a few weeks ago to see if we are improving. The finisher will be upper stabilisation drills.
PURE STRENGTH
This week in pure strength, have some tough bench press cluster sets and then some upper body accessory work on Monday, followed by a chance to progress the loading on the Single Leg work from last week,
WEIGHTLIFTING
This week in weightlifting, we are dialling in positions with a muscle clean and press followed by a heavy clean hang clean and Jerk complex followed by a tough EMOM.

Wednesday, we will Sumo deadlift, then get into a rowing power clean WOD with ascending weight on the power cleans. Thursday, we focus on some upper body pulling work coupled with some single leg work and then some fast short AMRAPS. Friday, we are snatching, followed by a long continuous mover for Friday therapy.

Habiba was our youngest member to participate in the Open this year and did an outstanding job as she tackled each workout pushing herself to do more than she knew she was capable of. Habiba also donates her time as a Junior Coach in our program with the Heroes of Hope. Habiba is committed to coaching the Heroes and helping them to also find the joy in fitness. We have had the pleasure of watching Habiba grow in strength, skills and confidence and look forward to seeing what her future holds. Congratulations, Habiba!

Amy has been with LRC for 8 months and her hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Amy is incredibly humble and effortlessly ticks off races and long runs on her return to running journey post children. We are incredibly lucky to have Amy be part of this team.
Endurance - Ireland: BRIAN TYRRELL
Since day dot Brian has dedicated himself to the process in every way. His progress has been incredible and this is a testament to his consistency and hard work. Not to mention his level of attendance and punctuality.
Brian was one of our first community members, he believed in what we were creating. He is a true gent, a friend and massive root to our ever growing community.
He is everything we want from our athletes and more!
With Paris marathon this weekend he can rest assured that the work has been done! It’s time to have some fun!
