Congratulations to all the Members of the Month for September!
InnerFight: KARI CRANE
Mum of 3, Kari has been crushing it! She has had an incredible transformation recently after giving birth to her 3rd child just over a year ago! She consistently trains, always enters the room with the biggest smile, and is always around for the community and its events!
Youth: ROXY MUES
Roxy has been a regular attendee of our Kids class for the last three years. She has always been kind, focused, ready to take on any challenge, and have some fun. Since returning from her travels this summer, Roxy has become a leader in class. With her positive attitude, Roxy is happy to lend a hand, demonstrate movements (beautifully!), and ask classmates to team up with her. Way to go, Roxy!
Endurance: JONATHAN LACEY
From his Coach Jess Towl, "While relatively new to Triathlon Jon’s consistency, positive attitude and complete trust in the process has seen him rapidly progress.
He is a valuable member of our community, works hard and always does so with a huge smile and a joke to tell.
Although early in the season, he recently came back from injury to smash his race plan in Salalah Ironman 70.3 finishing in 5:12.
I am really looking forward to working with him on big things over the coming year."
Ladies Run Club: RASHI SHAH
Rashi Shah has been with Ladies Run Club since February on her quest to train for Chicago Marathon. She has been gradually adding the miles each week and month, playing the consistency game, despite juggling a full-time job and plenty of travel. Rashi turns up to each session with a smile and positive mindset. We are very excited to for your upcoming race, Rashi!
Endurance - Ireland: BRIDGET JOHNSON
Bridget has been our longest standing community member. Over the 13 months Bridget has been with us it has not always been plain sailing. Like most running journeys it is never linear. However, Bridget continues to show up with a smile on her face and get to work. This month all Bridget’s hard work came into play as she completed Dublin half marathon and exceeded all her expectations. Bridget, from when we first met to the runner you have become we are all super proud of you.
Endurance - New Zealand: SARAH BELWORTHY
Sarah was one of our first athletes before the inception of InnerFight-NZ. She has grown over the last 18 months to understand that her biggest goal is to run for life, not just for a specific event. Juggling full time work, study and staying consistent in her training has been a massive learning curve and a balancing act that she has been persistently trying to achieve. Sarah loves the idea of running a Miler one day, most probably in her home town of Rotorua where the famous Tarawera Ultra Marathon takes place. For now, she just ran her first ever 30kms in 6km loops around the Blue Lake in the mud and rain as she prepares for the Tarawera 50km in February next year. September has been full of achievements for Sarah and we know this is only the beginning of her life long love for running. Ka pai Sarah, we love your drive, determination and excitement you bring to our InnerFight community.

GYMNASTICS
We continue to focus on the infamous bar muscle and the Handstand push-up in gymnastics. As always, we break down the skills, and these sessions are for all levels!
HYROX
Anything from a half hyrox to a full hyrox depending on your goals. We will change the distance of the runs so that we all finish together.
MOBILITY
Lower mobility/flexibility takes the front seat now. We will retest a few weeks ago to see if we are improving. The finisher will be upper stabilisation drills.
PURE STRENGTH
This week in pure strength, have some tough bench press cluster sets and then some upper body accessory work on Monday, followed by a chance to progress the loading on the Single Leg work from last week,
WEIGHTLIFTING
This week in weightlifting, we are dialling in positions with a muscle clean and press followed by a heavy clean hang clean and Jerk complex followed by a tough EMOM.

Wednesday, we will Sumo deadlift, then get into a rowing power clean WOD with ascending weight on the power cleans. Thursday, we focus on some upper body pulling work coupled with some single leg work and then some fast short AMRAPS. Friday, we are snatching, followed by a long continuous mover for Friday therapy.

Mum of 3, Kari has been crushing it! She has had an incredible transformation recently after giving birth to her 3rd child just over a year ago! She consistently trains, always enters the room with the biggest smile, and is always around for the community and its events!
Youth: ROXY MUES
Roxy has been a regular attendee of our Kids class for the last three years. She has always been kind, focused, ready to take on any challenge, and have some fun. Since returning from her travels this summer, Roxy has become a leader in class. With her positive attitude, Roxy is happy to lend a hand, demonstrate movements (beautifully!), and ask classmates to team up with her. Way to go, Roxy!
Endurance: JONATHAN LACEY
From his Coach Jess Towl, "While relatively new to Triathlon Jon’s consistency, positive attitude and complete trust in the process has seen him rapidly progress.
He is a valuable member of our community, works hard and always does so with a huge smile and a joke to tell.
Although early in the season, he recently came back from injury to smash his race plan in Salalah Ironman 70.3 finishing in 5:12.
I am really looking forward to working with him on big things over the coming year."
Ladies Run Club: RASHI SHAH
Rashi Shah has been with Ladies Run Club since February on her quest to train for Chicago Marathon. She has been gradually adding the miles each week and month, playing the consistency game, despite juggling a full-time job and plenty of travel. Rashi turns up to each session with a smile and positive mindset. We are very excited to for your upcoming race, Rashi!
Endurance - Ireland: BRIDGET JOHNSON
Bridget has been our longest standing community member. Over the 13 months Bridget has been with us it has not always been plain sailing. Like most running journeys it is never linear. However, Bridget continues to show up with a smile on her face and get to work. This month all Bridget’s hard work came into play as she completed Dublin half marathon and exceeded all her expectations. Bridget, from when we first met to the runner you have become we are all super proud of you.
Endurance - New Zealand: SARAH BELWORTHY
Sarah was one of our first athletes before the inception of InnerFight-NZ. She has grown over the last 18 months to understand that her biggest goal is to run for life, not just for a specific event. Juggling full time work, study and staying consistent in her training has been a massive learning curve and a balancing act that she has been persistently trying to achieve. Sarah loves the idea of running a Miler one day, most probably in her home town of Rotorua where the famous Tarawera Ultra Marathon takes place. For now, she just ran her first ever 30kms in 6km loops around the Blue Lake in the mud and rain as she prepares for the Tarawera 50km in February next year. September has been full of achievements for Sarah and we know this is only the beginning of her life long love for running. Ka pai Sarah, we love your drive, determination and excitement you bring to our InnerFight community.
