The  Paleo diet consists of food that best replicates that eaten during the Paleolothic era.

It is free from processed food, dairy products, grains, sugar and legumes but based around plants, animal products, vegetables, fruits and nuts.

A paleo way of eating improves health through improved body composition and metabolic function based on the fact that the food that is being eaten is more in line with the way humans are designed to eat rather than the more engineered food we are seeing in the modern era.
